Arch Enemy

Le groupe de death metal suédois Arch Enemy est fondé en 1996 par Michael Amott, ancien guitariste de Carcass, Carnage, Candlemass et Spiritual Beggars. Il est rejoint par son frère Christopher Amott (guitariste), le batteur Daniel Erlandsson et le vocaliste Johan Liiva. Ils rencontrent rapidement le producteur Fredrik Nordström et travaillent ensemble pour sortir le premier album « Black Earth » qui sort en 96. 2 ans plus tard, le bassiste d’Armaggedon, Martin Bengtsson, rejoint les rangs d’Arch Enemy.
