Clutch (US rock band)

Clutch est un groupe de stoner rock américain formé à Germantown dans le Maryland en 1990. Le groupe mélange stoner rock, funk et heavy metal. Clutch se forma en 1991, se faisant une certaine renommée après de bonne prestations en concert, le groupe signa leur premier contrat avec EastWest Reecord. En 1993 sort leur premier LP intitulé "Transnational Speedway League", deux ans plus tard sortira leur premier album intitulé sobrement "Clutch" qui marqua le succès commercial du groupe.
