The Boomtown Rats

The Boomtown Rats est un groupe de rock irlandais qui exista de 1975 à 1985. Ses membres étaient Bob Geldof (chanteur), Johnnie Fingers (clavier), Garry Roberts (guitare), Gerry Cott (guitare), Pete Briquette (basses) et Simon Crowe (batterie). Bob Geldof était actif dans les concerts de charité comme le Live Aid ou le Live 8. Le plus grand succès du groupe est le single I Don't Like Mondays (1979) qui reste numéro 1 en Grande Bretagne pendant quatre semaines. Read more on Last.fm
