Bassnectar (real name Lorin Ashton) is a freeform electronic music and dubstep artist, DJ, and producer based in Santa Cruz, California.[1] He is known for his live performances and light shows, and actively supports the non-profit group Conscious Alliance.[2] Eclectic electronic mix, combining mainstream music with underground dubs and the common "wobble" bass used by many dubstep musicians.
